By bus: from Newcastle/Gateshead take A602 (from Eldon square via Metro Centre, Blaydon, Ryton, Crawcrook & Prudhoe) and ask for either Branch End (just before the church) or Birches Nook (just after the church). When coming from Hexham (via Corbridge & riding Mill) ask for Birches Nook.

By train: from Stocksfield station there is a walk of about a mile to the church: turn left from station car park onto A695 road and follow road past the First School and Cricket Club, then uphill. Cross road and the church is on the sharp left hand bend.

By car: from Newcastle/Gateshead, take A695 west towards Hexham, via Blaydon and Prudhoe. After passing Prudhoe and passing through Mickley you enter Stocksfield. Church building is on the left hand side at the sharp right hand bend. From the west: take A695 towards Prudhoe & Gateshead. From Broomhaugh roundabout (junction with A68) Stocksfield is the next village you come to, after 2 miles. Pass railways station, First school and Cricket Club on your left, then travel uphill and the church is on the right at the sharp left hand bend. The church has a sizeable car park. For main services enter by the main door facing you; for other events you may need to use the entrance up the stairs on the right hand side of the building.
